Before it snowed...

More of Chicago...

A friend of mine took me to the Christ Kindle Market downtown. It was a very cold that day- and I wasn't wearing enough layers. Having lived in Minnesota for such a long period of time, i'd think I were able to handle the weather...but nope! I'm just not meant for the cold. With that being said, I enjoyed my hot chocolate, walked around and took pictures etc.

These pictures were shot semi close to the border (entering into Kenya from Tanzania). Roads from both countries are in reasonable condition. I shot these pictures from my zoom lens from an Impala shuttle. I would recommend that bus service to anyone.

Recreating the empty primary school in black and white.
I have already put these pictures up before but as colored. I find myself going back to black and white now.
Light room is a fantastic program for playing around with different shades.

I was surprised to see the standards of the school going down. When i was enrolled way before time, it was a very good school to be a part of. But upon visiting the school, chairs and tables were placed outside of the classes. The paint on the walls and playground material had worn off.
