Views
The boy who asked for nothing but love
We (I and three students from University of Maryland) gathered around a table to create a poster of a water harvesting tank that was built by students from University of Maryland and led by the expert community members on a service learning trip that took place in March '12 in the Kyanamukaaka village.
As we sat down in the garden, there were other community members working on their chores. I glanced up and saw a young boy who was carrying a toddler, walking towards us and when he got to me, without no words he dropped the toddler into my lap, and walked away. The baby said nothing but stared into my eyes and i was confused as to what I must do with this baby.
I'm not great with babies, so I passed it along to another girl who happily played with the child. And this was the result:

Every time he was lifted up, his smile got wider. Every push towards the sky, made him laugh even harder. He was the cutest toddler I had seen in awhile!
